WORLD-RENOWN DJ-PRODUCER STONEBRIDGE

Downtown Ultra-Lounge Featuring
Best House Music-Makers Behind its Turntable

AUSTIN, Texas — Internationally known DJ StoneBridge, who rocks parties from Sydney to Seoul to San Francisco to Sao Paulo with his personal brand of house music, comes to Austin and Pangaea for the first time to spin for guests Friday, March 21.

Swedish DJ StoneBridge, who also hosts a two-hour mix show 10 p.m.-midnight on Sirius’ Area 33 the first Saturday of every month, is head of the well-respected label Stoney Boy and will release this spring the second installment of his hugely popular 2006 remixed hit-laden dance-track THE FLAVOUR THE VIBE.

“Close to Heaven,” the third single from his 2007 MUSIC TAKES ME, is about to be unleashed by the Stockholm-born DJ who established himself as a world-class remixer and producer with his remix of 1993’s “Show Me Love” by Robin S. The record became one of the biggest-selling house records of all time, and StoneBridge started remixing singles and albums for such international acts as Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott, Simple Minds and Will Smith.

Super Star DJs at Pangaea will continue in April with return visits by Vertigo, Affect and Danny Daze and in May by Irie, official DJ of the Miami HEAT and actor Jamie Foxx. 

During SXSW Music Festival, the 4-month-old Pangaea was one of the best venues to hear live music, with special appearances by Daniel Lanois, Perry Farrell, The Vines and Ben Harper. Those seeking a new nightclub experience in Austin have discovered the safari-tinged ultra-lounge with its music, impeccable service, and the local, national and international notables who like to party there.
