 Director’s Statement

 I like to say that “Halfway Decent” is one man’s journey to find the key to his front door.

 You’ve got to decide who you’re going to be in this world, what you’re going to put out there and what you’re going to stand for. And maybe most important, you have to find that place inside where you’re comfortable with yourself and where you can be comfortable with someone else.

 That’s home, and that’s where police detective Tom Black is heading, but he’s got to go through hell to get there.

 I did extensive research on the “hell” part of the journey when I was writing the script. Now that Tom has found home, I’m thinking I better look that one up myself.
