CORY MORROW 'BEHIND THE CURTAIN': COUNTRY ARTIST
PREVIEWS NEW CD AT FAN-EXCLUSIVE EVENT

Songwriter Shares 'Story of the Songs,' Dinner, Concert, Gifts
on August 27

(AUSTIN, Texas) -- Texas recording artist Cory Morrow shares the "story of the songs" on his forthcoming album, NOTHING LEFT TO HIDE (street date: August 30), as part of "Behind The Curtain," a special fan-exclusive event on August 27 at La Zona Rosa in Austin.

Between a catered dinner by El Arroyo and the preview concert of the new LP, Morrow will explain the inspiration behind each of its songs, which follow his recent musical journey of rediscovery of self and highlight the new direction of his songwriting.

On NOTHING LEFT TO HIDE, Morrow blends California country and rock sounds with Texas storytelling, resulting in a tight mix of ballads and stompers with lyrical depth.

One of those songs is the chart-climbing single "Beat of Your Heart," which debuted on radio this month and is already at #4 on Texas Music Chart and #59 on Billboard's Airplay Weekly. Morrow says he wrote the song about a girl he knew and finding "happiness and love wherever you can."

Morrow and his touring band will be joined for the preview concert at La Zona Rosa by songwriter/guitarist Keith Gattis, producer of NOTHING LEFT TO HIDE and singer/songwriter Walt Wilkins, who co-wrote the album's first track, "Heart of Fire," among others.

In addition to the dinner, the concert and the one-on-one interview with Morrow, fans will be treatedto a meet and greet with Morrow and the band, pre-release copies of the new album, DVDs of the making of the record and other commemorative swag. Details can be found at www.corymorrow.com.
