Fifties iconoclastic musical influences on Big Blue Heartsâ
David Fisher ÷ Elvis, The Everly Brothers and Roy Orbison ÷
fuel his confident baritone, giving the band a sound thatâs
been called ãnew, fresh and totally addicting.ä The
Washington Post recognized early on his style of
ãsad-but-stoic balladsä and called his renditions ãvelvetyä.
ãRockabilly, vintage rock and creamy three-part harmonies
meet in [Big Blue Heartsâ] · exceptional,ä says USA Today.
Variety describes the foursome as ãcharismatic and engaging,
familiar without being derivative, supported by crafty
songwriting and bound by an honesty that projects from the
stage to the last row of the venue.ä
