(Austin, TX) -- 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels KNBT will host more than a dozen fan-favorite musical acts and artists at the 10th annual Americana Music Jam, a celebration of exceptional Americana music coming next month to the oldest dance hall in the Lone Star State.

Starting at noon Sunday, May 21, at the 168-year-old Gruene Hall, 1281 Gruene Road in New Braunfels, and going until 11:30 p.m., electric and acoustic sets will alternate on two stages. Tickets are $50; ticket information: 830.629.5077.

This year's stellar lineup includes Robert Earl Keen, Buddy Miller, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Charlie Robison, Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives, Radney Foster, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Cory Morrow (acoustic), Hayes Carll, Micky and the Motorcars, Joe Ely (acoustic), Walt Wilkins, Tom Gillam and Tractor Pull, and Houston Marchman.

Americana's roots-rock sound covers a lot of musical territory, but a country heart beats at its core. Long after Elvis' hillbilly hip-swiveling and R&B spawned rock 'n' roll, the radio format that developed during the 1990s embraces a more authentic sound. Individual artists continue to break old molds and new ground -- like those playing at KNBT's 10th Annual Americana Jam.

Proceeds from the event will be split evenly between two local children's non-profit groups: Texas CASA, which builds local programs for advocates who accompany abused and neglected children through the court system, and Central Texas and Connections Individual Family Services, which provides services for individuals and families to help nurture their growth and development.

For more information about the event, being co-sponsored by Gruene Hall, 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels and LoneStarMusic.com, visit www.knbtfm.com/home.html.
